Mata kuliah ini membekali mahasiswa dengan pengertian dasar rekayasa dan disiplin Teknik Industri, sejarah dan peran pionir keilmuan, konsep berpikir sistem (systems thinking), Industrial Engineering Body of Knowledge (IEBoK), etika profesi keinsinyuran (Kode Etik PII), hingga evaluasi dampak Industry 4.0 dan Society 5.0 terhadap sistem industri, dengan konteks penerapan pada Industri Kecil Menengah (IKM) yang berkelanjutan.
This course equips students with a foundational understanding of engineering and the discipline of Industrial Engineering, its history and pioneering figures, systems thinking, the Industrial Engineering Body of Knowledge (IEBoK), professional engineering ethics (PII Code of Ethics), through to evaluating the impact of Industry 4.0 and Society 5.0 on industrial systems, applied within the context of sustainable Small and Medium Industries (SMEs).
